Eye Sight Check
Outside, you will be asked to read a standard number plate from 20.5 metres away to ensure your eyesight is sufficient for driving
Tell Me, Show Me

Stopping at the Roadside
Whilst driving you will be asked to pull over at the roadside several times. This typically includes twice under normal conditions, once facing uphill and once behind a parked car where you will be asked to move away around the parked car
Reversing
You will be asked to carry out one of the four reversing manoeuvres; parallel parking, reversing on the right, reverse bay parking, reversing out of a parking bay
Independent Driving
Part of your driving test will be driving independently by either following satnav or road signs. The examiner will not give you directions during this part of your test

Results
At the end of your test the examiner will tell you whether you have passed or not. If you have not passed the examiner will explain the reason for this decision. If you have passed, you'll be given a pass certificate and your new driving licence will be sent to you
